Have been using it since it came out. PERFECT! best gps system I ever had! Highly recommend. Some bugs: Freshmaps loads on every run.

Since the latest iOS update this app can no longer access my contacts!! How does stuff get missed? Maybe next version they will fix in a few months. Not recommended!

Crashes every time i attempt to look up a contact. Just upgraded to an ipad mini 4. I am sure an update is on its way. Hurry!!!

Why doesnt NAVIGON North America contain Mexico? I do not see the sense in requiring another instance of NAVIGON just to have Mexico available. Is there a way to add Mexico to the North America version?

Something has happened, the app now closes mid route, this never happened before. I hope there is a fix coming soon. I would rate this 5 stars if not for this new issue.

This was my go to app until recently even though I own TomTom also. Suddenly last couple versions have all kinds of issues. Most POIs are missing now. Many addresses are gone. I cant even use it in many cases. A shame.

App no longer can load crashes immediately upon launch on iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 9.0.2 After downloading all the maps into my new phone the app wont launch and crashes immediately upon start up any help here?

One of the first apps that I ever paid for. Bought it when it first came out, several iPhones ago. Im embarrassed to say what I paid for it. But hey, I was in it for the long haul. I knew I loved my phone and I knew I loved to drive. Navigon... Problem solved. Well, after many years, many updates, many iPhones, different vehicles, and many miles, I am finally to the place where Im ready for something else, something better. Im not sure if its out there, but I am certainly tired of the constant surprises from this app. It either doesnt know north from south, or as is now the case, wont load at all. Please, do yourself and youre world a favor, buy an old fashioned map, then give the money you saved to some hungry person. You and they will both be happy. So long Navigon!

Whether its the offline functionality, the Apple Watch support, the lane guidance or the overall clean, driver friendly, interface, Navigon is my go-to navigation app. Its worth its weight in gold.

Excuse me??? Your app offered Live Traffic for years, and now its a $12.99 add-on? This update explicitly removed functionality for a money grab.

This app is simply amazing! Ive been using this for years now and it is very reliable and has never gotten me lost. Love the new update also!

Navigon has been my go-to Mac app since I first used it way back on the iPhone 3GS. Not even the mighty Google can top it, in my opinion. When Garmin purchased Navigon and came out with the Víago app -- which I also use -- I worried that maybe Navigon would be forsaken. Im so glad I was wrong! While I will admit that I do like how Víago has a better display of street names on the map, better scaling of the map as turns and destinations come up, and makes MUCH better choices about routing around traffic... I still find I prefer Navigon features and behavior for everything else. I especially loathe how Víago handles map download selections, when it chooses to announce upcoming turns, and how it displays that information (its gotten me lost several times). Nothing beats Navigons active lane guidance and Im really enjoying the new street sign display, and THANK YOU for bigger/more readable speed limit displays! My only real peeve about Navigon? It has this very obnoxious habit of deciding that traffic is moving too slowly on the highway and giving me a "detour," where it takes me off at an exit and then asks me to get right back onto the highway. Really?! And this has been an issue for years now. What really struck me recently was that a particular detour Ive gotten used to with Víago was missed by Navigon, which instead decided after asking me to exit the highway that really it was better to get back on. (Sigh) Dont backtrack, Garmin!! Take the small number of things that Viago does better and bring them back to Navigon. Of the two products, this one is far closer to perfection, in my opinion having used them both.

When I have this giving directions over Bluetooth after every driving command it says "call ended". When this happened in my car the cars screen would show that I was on a call. Then later when I was in a work truck using a earpiece it did the same thing. When I turned off Bluetooth it gave directions normally. Then when I turned on Bluetooth it would always end every direction command like it was on a phone call and say "call ended". I Googled this problem and others reported the same problem. They said it started after a update. Other GPS apps dont have this problem.

It consumes 50% battery of brand new phone in 30mins.

Tech support/customer support hard to get hold of, however I have used free, and paid application like it, however when I found this one. Well I really like it. Hope you try it, and enjoy it as much as I do.

Nokia Here Maps app and service is free. Like Navigon/Garmin it allows for map downloads so it can be used offline. Navigon/Garmin are both obsolete and only in still in business because people are ignorant of the quality and cost of Nokias Here Maps. If you dont need to download the maps for offline use Google maps is best and even Apple maps is better than Garmin/Navigon. Written months ago and still true Nov 2015.

My car came w/ a Garmin navigator, but I wish I had a Navigon navigator instead. Back in summer 2009, I read a Wall St. Journal article that gave loads of accolades about the Navigon app. Based on that article, I bought an iPhone instead of a Blackberry, just to use this app and thereby saving money on GPS units at airport car rental booths. It paid for itself on my first business trip after purchase. Like any software, this has had glitches. But, Navigon eliminated them ASAP. And I wish it had a trip odometer, a handy bicycle touring feature. However, I consider this app has been well worth the purchase.

Ive used this app for several years and have encountered the first big ever. When activating the app, it is stuck on the Map Manager screen -- every time I start it, this happens. What did you update or change on 7 or 8 Dec 15??? It keeps reloading maps that already exist.

I have been using this app from the first time it came out , I use it all the time and it has not let me down.
