Update Sep-1-2016:The 1-tap Work setting which I was ecited about is broken. EVERY time I tap the suitcase button the app asks if I want to enter a Work address. I tap yes, enter the address, get to the screen with a checkmark, tap the checkmark and it begins navigating. But for some reason the address is not saves, and the next time I tap the suitcase it asks me again. I also tap No and then try entering the address via "Take me to work". The app doesnt remember the address using that sequence, either. Another gripe is that the Suitacase button requires too much precision when tapping. I usually have to try 3 or 4 times. The icon is sufficiently sized (although small) but it seems like they only have 4 pixels wired fro response. Ive encountered a few more unexpected wonky routes. Downgrading from 4 stars to 3. Original Aug-11-2016: Just got my hands on version 2.16.0. Will need to use it regularly for awhile to decide whether the new interface is easier and more convenient. It certainly ~feels~ more logically laid out and organized in accord with good iOS app practices. The hamburger menu button is more intuitive. Dont have much to say yet about address entry and search. If nothing else, though, it was worth updating simply to get a Work destination button. Ive always enjoyed the 1-step convenience of the Home button, and wondered why has it taken more than 6 years for a dedicated Work button to appear -- finally! One thing I still hope for with every release but is again missing in this one: when I save a Favorite destination and later tap it to go there, why does Navigon insist upon asking me if I want to walk or drive, followed by the destination pre-map, then with Start navigation screen. For crying out loud -- its a FAVORITE! Just load it and execute immediately the same as with Home (and now Work). Please at least give us the option in Settings to skip the tedium upon choosing a Favorite. This is my go-to navigation app, and Im glad its still getting attention. Still room for improvement, though.
