Fix the Traffic alerts

Update 4-4-16 when the traffic notifications are set to "automatic" the system is more prone to act correctly and continuously inform me. When traffic notifications are set to "on request" it will not notify me or it will say please check your screen and theyll be nothing on the screen.

Update: from 5 stars to 3 stars to 1 star. Again went to NYC for the NYIAS and ran into traffic with no notice. Set my course way before I left. Sometimes it would say "check your screen" and thered be no alert, nothing in the top left hand corner. I find that I have to ( doesnt always work) look at the traffics messages before I set a destination to see if theres any traffic affecting my route. Also, why should I have to rely on another app (Google Maps) to see where traffics at? So I know it has nothing to do with my carrier network. FIX IT! Please!

New iPhone 6S+ great coverage in my area from carrier. Gps signal works fine, but many times Ive been notified of traffic after Im already in it. Sometimes, never. In an attempt to avoid this Ill open the app and set my route 30 min+ before so I can plan accordingly. The app doesnt say that the traffic alerts are offline either, just none affecting your route. Not sure if this is on your end or you need to talk with who manages the data supplied to our phones!
